Incomprehensible

Apparently, I don't understand anyone.
The sheer audacity....
The baffling greed....
The visceral avarice
Towards all:
And tidally t'wards the self.
Squander all that is yours
And all that is mine.
As I too squandered it.

I have nothing and still....
You would take it all.
Without qualm,
Smiling through feeble lies.
Dying....
In front of our eyes.

Tough love is all I have.
I've needed it myself.
I fed you no lies,
Trying to open your eyes.
Name one time: One,
That I took advantage of you.
I wish all of us: enough.
I pray for hope to shine brighter.
